Kentucky Bridal Party FUN!
The planning is mostly complete by now, and you are ready to enjoy all the showers given in your honor to celebrate the upcoming wedding. Your friends and family may offer to host a shower and may ask you for some creative ideas. Listed below are some themes and FUN ideas to consider.

AROUND the CLOCK
Assign guests an hour during a 24-hour period and they must bring a gift that represents that hour. You can only imagine how fun and interesting the gifts become the later it gets in the day!
LAWN and GARDEN
This is a nice shower theme that has guests bringing items needed for the outside of your new home. What a perfect time to get lawn furniture, tools, a hose and garbage can – it will be the only time in your life you are excited about getting garbage can – HA!
STOCK the BAR
Enough said. This shower is truly a party and fun to do as couples shower. Plan the evening with some great food and themed drinks such as the blushing bride or the B&G (bride and groom) Slammer.
IT'S ALL ABOUT the M (ME!)
This is a fun alternative to the bachelorette party. Maybe you’re just too old to hit the bars with a “suck for a buck” shirt. This party, all about YOU, can include anything needed to make you over and pamper you in style. Make-up, purses, lingerie, manicures, perfumes, whatever you desire for this unique YOU party!
ENTERTAINMENT SHOWER
Movies, board games, cards, poker set, CD’s, Plasma TV (Ok maybe too much). I think you get it. This is a FUN shower surrounding Entertainment. What a great party to host and easy to theme with Hollywood type game shows or maybe even reality style.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
You will be newlyweds, in your new home, and now you need the decorations to celebrate each holiday. Guests can bring gifts for each season like Christmas lights, stockings, Easter baskets, pumpkins, Valentine’s, grill kit (Labor and Memorial Day). All of these are great ideas and you’ll need them at certain times of the year.
COOKIN' in the KITCHEN
You’ll be a new wife, so now it’s time to cook. OK, that sounds very 1950’s. Maybe your new husband loves to cook (cross your fingers). Regardless, you need stuff for the kitchen. This can be anything including family recipes that people can pass down to you. Either way, you’ll love getting the can opener and pizza slicer.
